GLOBAL DAY OF PARENTS
The Global Day of Parents is observed on June 1 each year to honor parents throughout the world. This day provides an opportunity to appreciate all parents in all parts of the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship.

Global Day of Parents focuses on the role parents play raising their children. Family is important to everyone, especially parents who dedicate their life to nurturing and protecting their child. Parents who provide a happy and loving home teach create an environment for growth and understanding.
Everyone plays a critical role in the development of a child. Whether a child lives with their parents, family, or a foster family, the care given to children is about giving love and providing guidance. Support is the most important part of healthy growing, which is why anyone who is a parental figure to a child is celebrated today!
Being a good parent require simple skills that promote a positive environment. Here are a few ways you can create a positive family environment:

GLOBAL DAY OF PARENTS HISTORY
The United Nations adopted a resolution in the fall of 2012 to observe Global Day of Parents. The first observance took place on June 1, 2013.
