NURSING ASSISTANTS WEEK
Beginning on Thursday during the second full week of June, we kick off National Nursing Assistants Week. We want to say "Thank You" to all the nursing assistants that provide special care and attention to patients and share our gratitude for a job well done.

This week highlights the dedication and commitment of nursing assistants everywhere. Whether they provide care on the frontlines of battle, in an operating room, clinic, or nursing home, nursing assistants have been professionally trained to provide excellent care. They help nurses and other medical staff complete their job with ease. In fact, nursing assistants are vital members of healthcare teams that provide support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Nursing assistants perform administrative and clinical tasks that help ensure the efficient operation of medical offices, clinics, and hospitals. They work in hospitals and nursing homes alike, performing everyday living tasks for the elderly, chronically ill, or helping with the rehabilitation of patients who cannot care for themselves. Of course, nursing assistants require in-depth training to gain the necessary qualifications to cover a wide scope of responsibilities.
